They are solid and well-functioning and we love the new look.I removed one star for 2 things;1: While they look authentically hand forged, having a number of them together shows they are cast. Some variation in the texture/shape of the ring would be nice.2: there were several that were not tapped deeply enough to allow the (metric) screw to tighten against the door so I needed to buy shorter screws for some.Having said that, I would not hesitate to buy them again or recommend them.

Well made and attractive on my rustic shutters. Only drawback for me was the fact that the screws were metric. I needed to shorten them to fit with 1" lumber rather than just use one of the many screws I had.
