Great dog themed knocker. Prompt service with follow-up on their part.
Couple of things I learned after purchasing 1) it does take 2 holes all the way through the door - no big deal for us. 2) The tail is a shark's tail and not a dolphin's. It should be flat not up and down - which also means if you use this knocker it will add another dent to your door. Not a huge deal, but would be nice to have the tail match the animal. Otherwise, it is heavy and beautiful and you can hear it through our small house.

Not like the one pictured. It needed different hardware that was not sent. This one had the two screws on top and they were not sent. Had to go out and spend a few extra bucks plus the time wasted to find the right ones.The long knocker screw piece was way too long. So again more money and more time. Still wasn’t able to find the right length. The bat is up and looks great but not functional. The bat itself is nice and it looks good. It would be worth 5 stars if it came with the proper hardware.
The door knocker is beautiful but the screws are cheap and stripped when we hung it. I would recommend finding antique brass color screws that are better quality before putting up your bat.
It’s cute, but hinges are wonky so it hangs crooked unless you hang it off kilter. For the price, I’d expect more.
I am really impressed with the artistry of my cool bat door knocker. It definitely does not look cheap.
I just happen to like bats, so I've always wanted one of these. I believe it was the Victorians who put small door knockers in the form of a bat on their bedroom doors. Victorians had a lot of strange customs. I'm sure the bat had some symbolic nocturnal association. This is a cute little door knocker. The black finish is nice - not glossy or rough. I'm still trying to figure out how it installs. There were no instructions included in the package - that is the only 'con'.
It’s all good. Very sturdy and cute. I would go for Phillips head mounting screws instead of slot head, but no big deal. Should last forever.
