Not the greatest reproduction
We have one of these already and redid the room, so wanted the same in brass. I was happy to find it here. Once arrive I expected to unscrew the old one, and install the new one. Unfortunately the main body is smaller and therefore the screw holes do not align. Not the end of the world. The wire hanger part is substantially larger. The two combine makes is looks slightly awkward and the roll is always offset versus centered (or close). The color of the wooden spool is much lighter the our other, or than what is pictured. It has a cheap unfinished look. The countersinks on the holes are quite large in comparison but do fit. The provided screws have unnecessarily large heads and are polished brass, so they do not match the main piece either. Overall not pleased, especially at this price.

Easy to use
I was worried that it would be too stiff to get rolls on and off but that is not the case. It also has enough spring to hold the wooden spool tightly in place.
