The contractor who will install siding over my existing asbestos shingles wanted me to remove the iron pipe railings so he could go over the area with vinyl siding. This would have meant removing the railing by unscrewing joints that have rusted in place since 1932, shortening the pipes after he was done, and then re-threading them so I could re-install them.......sounded very problematic so I covered the railing/wall interface with 2 x 6 to mimic the existing porch columns. The plan was to cover the hole where the pipe runs through the 2 x 6 with escutcheons to give the job a finished look and these two part escutcheons were perfect for the job.
The flange worked and fit perfectly.
Looks good, much better than the chrome flat ones. Does not fasten to the floor and the 2 halves are held together by pins and comes apart easily. Not a problem in a low traffic area. Kind of expensive but no alternatives for a nice looking flange.
Needed a black flange and this worked perfectly.
Did a nice job replacing our old cruddy partly rusted flange. And this couldn't be easier to put together. And it looks nice.
They saved me Big Time because the Tile had to be cut around the Radiator. The bathroom is in a five story building so we couldn’t remove it! I’d buy them again!
Put these on all our radiators after giving them a fresh coat of shiny silver paint. What a improvement. They are solid weight and look extremely nice.
These are very nice flanges, quite a step above the flimsy chrome ones in the big box stores. They are solid construction, very heavy duty and really approve the appearance of our old fashion radiators.
Fits fine around the radiator pipe. Looks great.
Nice addition to the radiators.
