GORGEOUS -- We made vents for the exterior with screens
I wanted vents for our home that look like the lovely vents on Victorians. So I bought 4 of these, bought some metal screening (to keep rats and snakes away), sprayed the screening black (so you can't see it at all) and spray painted these vents with white semigloss. I also put the outside inside (because it's flat) and I actually like the look better. They are GORGEOUS! I would suggest the Renovators Supply create vents like this ready to install. Beautiful.

Love the look of this vent. It does have an imprint of the company but we were able to put it in the back corner of the floor so it's not noticeable. I included pictures of measurements of the grille for other potential buyers.
