I really appreciated that the seller included extra long screws ...
I really appreciated that the seller included extra long screws to accommodate the square casting protrusion behind the door knocker. You cannot see the square from the front of the door knocker when it is attached to the door. The door knocker is a heavy brass. It feels quite solid and fit door well.

Simple to install. Elegant in design

Very bold and impressive, not entirely thought out well...
Good price, GREAT QUALITY BUT A LIITLE LACKING on functionality.What I am saying is, I wish they'd have welded the knocker to the plate. Since they didn't, and they didn't provide a back plate, you will probably need to ferret out your own hardware to make this work as intended. Since this is clearly intended to be both functional and decorative I feel they should have a better solution for bolting the actual knocker onto your door.

Nice quality Knocker, get your own bolts and washer
This is a great door knocker! It completed the look of my shed door very nicely. I did have to get a large washer for the back side of the door and a couple of nuts to secure it to the door. The small nut provided would not hold the weight of the knocker. I cant wait to re-do 2 more shed doors in the same way!

Great Value Doorknocker
This is a great doorknocker. It is well made, heavy and what I expected. I am very happy with the purchase. That said, installation was more time consuming than expected. I think partly because we have a metal door. It would be easy as pie with a wooden door. Also, it does not come with instructions, so have the pictures from the website accessible, so you have some sort of diagram to go by. Remember the old rule, measure twice - drill once! It comes with all the hardware you need. (Sorry the picture is crooked)

Overpriced Made in India

The style and quality of the product is exactly what I was looking for. I believe the screws were for a wood door and we were replacing a knocker on our metal door so we had to use our own metal screws. I would recommend this company and product to anyone wanting an alternative to the plain old "normal" store options. This is more than a door knocker, it's a statement !
