Excellent quality door stop caps

I purchased 2 pkgs of 10 of the rubber door stop caps. I was very pleased with the product. These were used to replace the original caps that are 70+ years old. These caps look nice, these are good quality and they snapped on with a good fit. I am very pleased and satisfied. Thank you, Tom

These are exactly what I wanted.

I bought these little caps to replace what was on our doorstops. The old ones had dried up, and were breaking apart. These caps fit on the doorstops perfectly. They were easy to put on, and they are a nice ivory color. We have oil rub bronze doorstops, and these look very good on them. I read a review or two that mentioned they were shorter than the old ones, but that was not the case with ours. They are exactly the same. I was confused about the different measurements mentioned in many descriptions of the doorstop caps, and I finally just went ahead and bought them, and I'm glad I did.

I have a Labradoodle who thinks these are just swell to chew (never swallows thankfully - just likes the rubbery texture). I take them away and put them back on the door stops but eventually they have to be replaces.Got a pack to keep in the house. They fit perfectly and I like the clean look better than the grey that were on there.BONUS! He does not seem to like the plastic-y texture of these. A little less like squishy rubber and more like firm, soft plastic. Works great and fits on all my standard, screw-to-the-wall doorstops.

These door stop caps are excellent. The original caps in my house had gotten old and brittle. I couldn’t find new caps at the home center and new door stops were flimsy compared to my old ones. Also the new door stops had plastic caps that were hard plastic and likely to make dents in the door. These silicone caps are soft. They are easy to attach to the old stops. Great solution. I was actually very happy to find them.

Perfect replacement door stop tip!!

Perfect measurement (1/4" inner diameter and 5/8" outer diameter). Make sure you measure your current rubber tip and you'll know if it'll fit. See the review Lisa S.' picts, she had the same door stop as me and these fit perfectly. These are white and look much better than my old yellowing rubber ones.Did a remodel and my contractor lost on of these tips. Instead of replacing the whole door stop and having it not match everywhere, I got these and replaced all my old yellowing tips.

Perfect fit!

While these are shaped differently from my previous door stopper tips, they fit perfectly fine. I am using them on the baseboard-mounted spring type stoppers as well as hinge-mounted stoppers. Being silicone, I would expect them to last a very long time. We lost most of the spring-style tips to cats, but the hinge-mounted stoppers had all dry rotted so I replaced those too (the ones that hadn't already fallen off).

Relatively economical repair

The tips of our baseboard door stops were so old that got stiff and crumbly. We couldn't find replacement door stops of the same caliber at our local big box DIY stores (in fact they were abysmally cheaply made of awful material), so we wondered if we could just buy new tips for our otherwise serviceable brass stops. These are it! They fit, they're nice and flexible, and the black color looks a little classier than the white ones they replaced. Kind of makes me wonder who thought white looked good down there against a pine base board in the first place. It cost less in money and time than if we had had to replace all of the stops whose tips are crumbling.

Perfect replacements

We needed replacement tips for our existing door stops, which are best described as bronze octagonal spikes. These tips are a perfect fit, snap on easily, and stay put. They seem to be well made and I suspect that they'll be durable. They ship in easy to open packaging that protects them in transit without being excessive. I was unable to find these anywhere locally, and am pleased to have found these to be available.

Great Product, just what I was looking for

I went looking in Local hardware stores for just these tips but was unable to find them and did not want to buy new metal arms and tips. I searched around a bit and found these and knew they were just what I needed. Typical rubber door stop tips are hard to put on because they are very stiff and get hard and crumble after years of use. These silicone tips are very easy to install and should last a long time because they are made out of silicone and not rubber. These are more expensive than I would want to spend but they work very well and should last the lifetime of my house while keeping door "dings" from my drywall and dents/hole from my door frame the rubber piece cracking and falling off.These are very clean, white, and bright vs the yellow/grey of my old rubber tips. They are a little bit shorter/smaller than the rubber tips that they replaced but they work just fine in my case and would buy them again.

okay... so this isn't the traditional use, but it worked GREAT. and as a person who also has door stoppers, i gave them a whirl on those as well - also worked great.all i did was fill the hole with hot glue, stick it on the contigo lid where the old rubber stopper popped off, pushed it into the location i wanted, closed the lid, waited a few minutes to cool, and my contigo lid is FIXED!in case anyone is wondering - the contigo manufacturer neither provides individual lids nor replacement stoppers - this has been a huge $$$ saver!!! not to mention less to recycle.

Easy replacements for failed door stopper tips

Starting about five years after the stoppers were installed, all of the white tips on my door stoppers started to fail. This wasn't from impact, but just from rubber/plastic that deteriorated from being in the air.I replaced all of the existing tips with these black tips. I like the black color rather than the white. The old tips came off easily; most of them had already fallen off already. These tips went on in a straightforward manner. It is easier to get the new tips on if they are dampened before being mounted on the stopper.Since the tips are made of silicone I expect that they will last essentially forever since that is my experience with silicone chalking.

Fit perfectly, easy to install

I have an old house with brass doorstops everywhere. Over the years, several of the original rubber tips have dried out and fallen off. I'm doing a bit of renovating and found several of the doorstops that had been removed - to paint baseboards I guess, or because the unprotected end was damaging the door. I wasn't sure these tips would fit, but they are perfect. One detail, small in fixing up the house, but it's very satisfying.

Change out your door stop tips!

This product was right for us. We hadnew nickel finish door stops with white caps. These were far superior to the non-flexible type. The gray color looked better with the wood floor. Thank you!

Great product!

These are just what we were looking for to replace older rubber door stopper tips which had hardened & started to crack. They are nice & soft unlike many of the harder rubber ones these days both on Amazon & in stores. We also liked the darker color to blend with trim on doors. Very easy to install & staying in place well. Would buy again if needed.

EASY PEASEY

Went through the entire house and replace all the old stoppers that were cracking or breaking off. Took only a few minutes to replace. I chose the grey ones since we have dark floors and they blended very well. Good quality and would recommend.

Work great

Just what I needed for my doors. Went into a local hardware store and could not get anyone to help me find these little things. And people wonder why Brick and mortar stores are closing. yay for Amazon!

They fit fine, but don't quite wrap around hump on the post to keep them on tightly. The tip is pretty thin (probably 1/2 the thickness of the original tips), so they look a little odd. I don't think they will last as long if they are used regularly. But better than nothing on the tips. Hopefully I'll eventually find a better replacement

Received it quickly. Fits well on my doorstop. The color is a little bit lighter than the picture, which was fine with me. It matched the old one. The material seems a little harder than the original one, but maybe that will change over time. Used to replace a tip chewed up by dogs.
