Exactly what we wanted!

Quality Build . . .
I was asked by the seller to review this item (nothing offered in return) and I don't normally do so until something I've purchased has been in service for an appreciable length of time. With that said, I can't speak to whether or not it will eventually rust because I immediately painted it matte black to match the remaining hardware on an old Hoosier safe. (It came very close in color but while I was painting everything else, I gave it a shot, too). I'm well-pleased with the piece. It fit the bill perfectly for a very old cabinet restoration.

Excellent addition to our Little Free Library

Rugged piece of hardware!
This is perfect for my rustic cabinetry I'm building in my Maine camp. They are heavy duty and work well. It works as a latch and cabinet knob. The price is very reasonable. They probably would work on any style cabinet but they have a primitive look that goes well with my work.
