I bought this hook to secure a double pocket door and it beautifully matched the brass door handles we have. Nice quality and style. Easy to install and works exactly as I wanted.

We bought a really old house that has these French doors in front. They have screen doors that had nothing fastening them closed. I ordered these before the first time my grandson can’t to visit to keep him in the house. The hooks are heavy, well-made and really pretty. They came with screws that matched and were priced just right. The hooks kept the small human and the large fog from escaping.

Hard to Find Bronze Finish

These heavy-duty latches come in a hard-to-find bronze finish, which matches the hinges and knobs on ourrrrr 104-year-old house. We purchased them because the doors locked by key rather than a tumbler, and the key has been lost.

SO STURDY

This thing is SOLID. Easily the best, most durable hook and eye set I've seen, and it seems like hefty solid brass the whole way through. It feels like a very natural addition to the bathroom door in my old house. Very fair price for a really gorgeous piece of hardware!

Quality product

This is a nice brass latch. Installation is quite simple and and sturdy. The screws are also brass, so you need to drill a smaller hole to insert the screws.

High quality latch, terrible screws

It's a nice looking and sturdy product with some "flexibility" to allow for some buffer when measuring it out. Love the brass finish, and looks more upscale than the standard hook and eye. The issue is that the supplied screws are terrible quality. I tried using two and one broke off in my wood frame without much pressure. Upon closer inspection, one can feel/hear the inferior quality. Had to get them out, replaced with better screws I had on hand, then had a good product. Wish they'd spend the extra 25 cents to manufacture/provide higher quality screws.

Some cabin hooks feature roughly cast and poorly plated parts. Not these! They are hefty, clean castings that have been carefully worked before plating. The result is a truly superior product. Don’t hesitate to buy them.

Perfect solution for barn door privacy problem!

This item exceeded my expectations. We had tried several different hardware options for locking a bathroom barn door. Most lacked the pivoting feature we needed to keep the door latched, others looked rough and didn’t fit with the existing bathroom hardware. This product fit our application perfectly and the finish blends in with the rest of the bathroom. The eye section is small and doesn’t extend into the doorway (as other option had), so bumping into as you enter/exit is not a problem.

The price.

Just what I expected. I actually just used the part with hole in it to hang a ornamental hand can opener.
