Strong and hard steel
Good quality. Steel is very hard and strong. Not sure what kind it is. Wore out three cobalt drill bits making new holes for my use configuration. The powder coating is hardy, too

Good product, requires special mounting conditions.
The product itself seems fine, but the hinge requires that the door be offset about 3/4" from the post, that is it is not a "flush mount" style and this is not something you can easily determine from the catalog list.
