Pros: Nice looking. Cost effective. Removable. Cons: flimsy steel that flexes, I wish it was thicker gauge steel, over time the gate will effect it’s strength and how it hangs. Needs a vinyl bushing between the strap hole and the pin, go to a hardware store and buy vinyl washers which will mean it’s not metal on metal which will rust easy. Third and finally the finish is not great and will rust quickly in places, do yourself a favor and buy a quart of Sherwin Williams UTE - Tricorn Black - Satin and brush on 2 coats over everything. This will preserve the flimsy metal so it can last. As a bonus, replace the supplies screws and buy something else such as old fashioned style square or hammered flatheads and dip 2 coats in the UTE. all in all decent hinges, just a bit more flimsy than I thought. Consider a 3rd/4th hinge for supporting heavier gates. I would NOT use for an exterior door to say a house.

OKay... didn;t work for me. Quality Control Issues.
The offset was too extreme for my installation. This was set #3 that I tried for my shutter installation. The powder coating is suspect. The quality control on the screws are terrible. I could not even fit a screwdriver into some of the slots because there was too much paint. The hinge brackets are made from multiple pieces and will likely fall apart. The price was good, but as they say, you get what you pay for.

Sturdy hinges at good price.
I bought these to make wooden shutters for my bathroom. I like the rustic look and these were perfect. I am amateur wood crafter and they were easy to install. Love them.

Hinges are fine screws are bad
The hinges work ok I guess.The screws that come with the kit are awful. Straight slot and the paint flakes off immediately while installing. I just installed with some Phillips screws I had laying around.

Nice product, use your own screws
The hinges are great. Only 4 stars because the screws are useless. I couldn’t even screw them into my cedar wood, which is very soft. The head of the screws are not well made, kept stripping and paint on screw kept chipping off.
