As I said, these look rather nice and also have a good solid feel (as you expect from cast brass). Other commenters are correct though that the quality of the screws is atrocious, fortunately this is an easy fix since you can pick quality brass screws for relatively cheap (just do it). The quality of the actual sash locks is lesser than I would like, but I feel is still better than most. You can definitely tell these are not made to the same quality standards of the "ye olde" sash locks, but then what is. I am not experienced enough with installing sash locks to know if these fit as smoothly together as they should, but based on my install they worked fine. The only caveat to this is that is there isn't alot of vertical clearance, so you have tight fitting windows to start with and then added cushion bronze to the sashes then you might have some trouble getting them to line up (mine fit exactly right pre-weather stripping and then were difficult to latch post-weather stripping, but I did get it to work)

These were great latches for the window restoration of our 1883 Victorian home. A beautiful style, at a price that didn’t tax our budget. The only issue we’ve had is the cheap screws that came with the latches. The metal is too soft and the screw heads stripped very easily. We had to purchase new screws that could handle very old, hardened wood. I would still recommend them to a friend, but I’d advise them to throw away the included screws and replace them with something more durable.

Great product, beautifully finished

The finish and function of these locks are wonderful. I only had to return the items because unfortunately the notch for the lock on the upper sash did not have a provision for a divided lite muntin, these can only fit a single pane window with a fairly deep sash. There should be an application guide for window locks, as with wheels/tires or lighting for an automobile. Cheers!

I was tired of the standard brass sash locks for my 1830 house and picked these up--love them.

Great sash lock and keeper.

This sash lock pulls windows snug and is very well made. I only bought 1, but I will replace all my old sash locks with this one!
