Just adding one more to existing woodwork

I just felt so fortunate to find this again. I like the way they protect the outside sheetrock corners in a room. The add style and protection in one easy package. I have been asked numerous times where to find them by house guest. They are so simple in design yet so practicable.

I've purchased a number of these from various wood products catalogs. This one was equal in quality as the higher end catalogs, and with the free shipping, made it the best purchase price for what I needed. It comes in 2 pieces, which I didn't expect, but everything is ready to attach and it made no difference in the end product. Looks great painted and adds character elements to any room. Item was packed well and shipped quickly.

Went to assemble this, glued the dowels to connect the two pieces. It would not go together all the way. If I'd suspected this I would have shortened the dowels. For the price, not so good.

Mismatched pieces

The item is two pieces with two pegs and matching holes. It does not fit correctly.I would have expected these would have been checked before they were shipped to the customer.

Hard to find and perfect

The corner guard is perfect. It will save that corner from countless attacks by my family! I have been looking for one for two years at every hardware store and was so excited to find it at Amazon. Came in perfect condition. Can't wait to put it up and paint the hallway.

Wood corner guards are hard to find!

These are getting hard to find. They slipped together easily, took stain well, and attached to the corners without problems. They fit in this old farmhouse beautifully.

I am very pleased with these corner protectors. I read reviews before I purchased them. I don't know why some said they not a good product. It Cleary states they come in two pieces. They were very easy to attach together with a small amount of wood glue. They were smooth and did not require any sanding. I stained them the color I wanted and put a couple of coats of polyurethane on them . They are beautiful and compliment my wall . Way better than those clear plastic ones or the plastic wood ones that dent when something bumps them.

I didn't dislike the corner guards I was caught off a little because of being two pieces instead of one long one. It still looks great and was easier to adjust the height

Quality product and excellent finishing touch for corners in our newly remodeled bathroom

Our bathroom is going through a remodel and we had to build a wall out to accommodate the shower. The wall is about 6 inches wide and 6 inches deep and I could see the corners getting banged up so I bought 2 corner protectors .They were perfect for this area and are of great quality and came within 2 days of ordering. The packaging was excellent.

3.0 out of 5 starsDisappointing Seller neglects these are two piece segments,warped,.not worthy for staining.

Seller did not include in their description that the mouldings would arrive in two piece segments. With patience, they assembled. Unfortunately, they are not matching at the joint,causing them to be uneven, and set on corner with substantial gap. This was on a plumb corner in new construction. There are also chips at the joints. Wood filler will be nessesary to correct the visable defects. Clearly seconds, which is probably why the price n point is lower, still not worth the price when you consider the labour and needed wood filler. Do not buy if you want to stain. These will to be painted. A bit disappointed, as Renovator Supply typically sells a goid product.

Pros:These look great. Solid hardwood but you have to sand them smooth before painting or staining.<br>Cons: They are two pieces not one and they are made in china. Pricey for a Chinese product.

Nice quality. I haven't stained, sealed, and installed them, yet, but pleased with my items.
