My husband finally installed a place for me to fill up my watering can on our deck. The dragon is so cute.

We are building an offgrid shed to cabin and this is the most beautiful piece in our building, so far! I had just enough to splurge on this piece of art. (As you can see, we don't even have insulation or walls!)We did have a difficult time adapting the plumbing side as we were unable to determine it's size (possibly metric?). However, we were able to force thread a 1/2 in. plastic nipple that were close enough. Our water is gravity fed through a 1/4 in line. So, there is no pressure on the misfit parts and it works for us.

Solid well built

I was worried about buying this many faucets that are designed are quite cheap and poorly built. This is solid and very sturdy.. its gonna look great in my old world styled sauna.

Exactly as featured ,good for evoking deep woods mystery

I am using this in a rustic 1928 cabin on Lake Superior. The 1920s tub has 4-inch spacing for the water spigots, therefore I am installing an 8-inch set outside the tub, and creating a bathtub spout with the Dragon fixture. It should fit well with the rough cedar surround.

Handsome, charming, and high-maintenance.

My wife and I really like the look of this spigot, and nicer alternatives are not easy to find online. The casting is done well and the design is nice.However, it does take some determination to get it to work with garden hoses commonly available in most US stores.The spigot includes a removable quick-connect fitting, but only the male side. You will have an incredibly difficult time finding a matching female fitting at hardware or garden supply stores or online. This renders it effectively useless. I don't know why the female side isn't included. It would make this a five star rating.The lack of a usable quick-connect fitting would be fine, but there is bigger problem. The spigot has a male 1/2-inch straight threaded outlet. All US hoses use 3/4 inch straight threads. I looked for a long time, but could not find a 1/2 inch alternative. In its "you might also like..." section for this product, Amazon recommends a brass conversion fitting with female 1/2-inch pipe-threading on one side and male 3/4 straight-threading, for garden hoses, on the other. So called "pipe threading" is when the male and female sides of the connection have threads that are slightly tapered so that they have an increasingly tighter fit the more you turn them together. This standard approach to threaded copper fittings is the way semi-permanent connections can be made not to leak. Straight threading is not tapered and requires a washer between the male and female sides to create the seal. When you try to screw the pipe-threaded converter on to the faucet's straight-threaded outlet, it will never get tight and create a seal, and the fitting has no internal stop to hold a washer, against the end of the male side, so the adapter will always leak.I had to make my own workable adapter by cutting the last 3/8 of an inch off of a sacrificial brass male 1/2 inch pipe-threaded fitting and screw that little ring into the female thread of the 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch hose fitting to act as a stop for a washer. This worked, but might not be what you'd expect to have to do to install a faucet.

Love the look.

Have been looking for a new hose bib for our camp for about a year now. This one popped up in my last search. I love the look and cannot wait to have it installed. Our water comes from a barrel at the side of our kitchen and is accessed by an old regular hose bib at the kitchen sink. THis will add some class to the sink.

We love the look and feel of this spigot. I really like the fact the handle only turn 45 degrees to turn on to full.

Dragon Spicket Long

Beautifully designed and long enough to go over and fill into our pond. Only problem is that the nozzle end is too small and we can’t use a regular garden hose. We had to get a hose with a quick connect end.

Good service and great product

The tap was exactly what I wanted, going into an oriental garden. It was of good quality and exactly as described. Delivery was prompt to Thailand and I got a follow-up message checking that everything was OK, which was most appreciated.

Packaging was horrible. Item itself lacks detail, and a whole section of threads was missing/damaged. However, I was able to get it to work without leaking, so I didn't return it. This worked with a standard hose and did not require the adapter Amazon pairs with this item. The part that goes against the wall was nice. Overall, this is much nicer than a standard/plain faucet, but for the price I would have expected better detail on the bird. I've seen the dragon version of this item, and it had much better detailing.

Great but available and cheaper in store - found out later

I am so happy, the parts is exactly what I was looking ...

Many years ago I bought a similar faucet, the handle broke off, because my now 19 year of son turned it too tight. Now I found a replacement. I am so happy, the parts is exactly what I was looking for. the handle fits perfect in the hand and is easy to turn. How many times to do buy a outside faucet? it is worth spending the money, everytime you look at the hummingbird, you smile.

Fills the bill...so to speak.

This went on a porch 40' above the forest floor in our north Carolina mountain house and supplies water through one of those stretchy hoses to both baskets and pots on the porch but to two gardens below the porch when "the gardener" needs to sprinkle. We are in a hummingbird area so the theme of the faucet was important.
