This was a replacement for a 35 year old broken product. It was a little less sturdy than the original, but it will work. Upon receipt, the handle would not activate the latch. The seller was quick (about 20 minutes) to respond, and after another attempt the latch worked. Must have been the lacquer that caused the handle to stick, as you could hear and feel the lacquer “break away”.
