It's not as sturdy as my last last seat( Kohler) but I also paid a lot less for this seat.

I know who thinks a toilet seat is Beautiful, Well I do ... I have been waiting 8 mo. to get my bathroom back .. and a very long 8 months it has been.This toilet seat is perfect in my new black and white bathroom. She fit perfect and feels like good quality.
It is oblong but still not long enough. It gets the job done, however.

The color
It's shiny black, easy to keep clean and took about 4 minutes to install. Used it in a perdominantly black and white powder room. Made a really "slick" addition.
I have a custom order black toilet, and as expensive as it was, the seat always was bad. After is started breaking apart, i bought this (what I feared was going to be poor quality) but ended up surpassing the "expensive" one that came on my toilet. Super quiet /slow close, less books and cranny to clean, excellent purchase!
I wanted a black and white theme in my bathroom and this set it off! Everyone is surprised to see how it shuts by it self. Plus they love the color. Best bang for buck. Easy to clean.

We had this about 8 months before one of the plastic nobs that sits on the toilet bowl pushed through the plastic to make sitting on the seat uncomfortable. Then the plastic started to crack. I have had similar padded toilet seats that lasted for years.
