... from amazon that has the recessed water connects and crappy hoses that you have to hand tighten

These are a must for anyone who has ordered a faucet from amazon that has the recessed water connects and crappy hoses that you have to hand tighten. Hand tightening doesn't work and leads to leaks. Finding these was a life and money saver. I thought I was going to have to get a different faucet, but nope. These worked perfect. It's a shame the recessed connect faucets don't already come with the proper hoses.

Quality is good enough

I bought a faucet that did not have pre-installed lines. It came with flex lines like these, but without the rigid extension. The holes in the faucet were recessed about 2 inches, and I didn't think I could tighten (twist) the included flex lines enough to keep it from leaking -- I was afraid I would ruin the crimp connector. So I found these, which have a rigid section with a hex fitting that let me get a wrench on it and tighten it without risking any crimped fittings.

It worked well -- did not leak!
