This medicine cabinet was for our small family bathroom that previously had a mirror only. It is great having that extra storage space inside the cabinet. It is mounted against the wall, as opposed to embedded in the wall. I was afraid it would stick out too much, but it doesn't -- it's not obtrusive at all, looks great, like it's always been there. It fits many items (with optional 3rd shelf not installed) including two separate toothbrush cups, a slim bottle of mouthwash, and and assortment of small items on the bottom level like chapstick, tea tree oil, zit cream, etc.Installing was a 2-person job because the mirror is rather heavy and must be held in the open position in order to install the screws. The tools involved a pencil, level, screwdriver, and measuring tape. I opted to use my own wall anchors which are a heavy-duty screw-in type, rather than the ones provided. We installed into drywall only, no studs. We got it installed in 4 steps. The first step is to correctly mark where the top holes go by measuring and leveling. The second step is hold the cabinet up to the pre-marked holes (confirm position with a level), and create precise starter holes in all 4 mounting points. Laying the cabinet aside, the third step is to install the anchors, and the fourth step is to hold up the cabinet back up and screw it into the wall anchors. My only complaint is that it appears that the cabinet is actually designed to swing to the right, whereas I specifically searched for ones that open to the left. This is because the fixed shelf inside the cabinet appears to be upside-down when mounted to swing left. The sides of the shelf fold upward when mounted to swing left, which makes the shelf like a shallow trough instead of a continuous smooth surface. However, that shelf is welded in, so it's not structurally affected by being turned upside down, and it still does its job being a shelf. The optional/removable shelf sits correctly with the hollow area facing down when mounted to swing left, so I supposed it was made to be convertible.
Looks Good ??
The truth is it’s too expensive for what it is you can get much nicer and better one for the money it’s 157+ tax it’s too much for what it is we can do much much better
We were looking for a small medicine cabinet for the small bathroom. This one is well built and fits in well. The cabinet itself is smaller, but the necessities fit in well. We have a cabinet for larger items. I would recommend this for your small areas.
Very sturdy and lightweight. Perfect size for a small bathroom. Nice mirror and strong magnets and hinges. Simple to install.
