Best toilet seats I have ever owned!

Best toilet seats I have ever owned. Very high quality, they look elegant and are well worth the extra cost.

Well made but the color is somewhat darker than cherry.

Seems to be good quality but too early to be able to to be sure. Very sturdy so far. I ordered a cherry finish but the one I received is a mahogany color. Not a deal breaker because it is 100% better than the one it replaced. So far it’s great.

Great quality product and made with excellent craftsmanship. Delivery was as advertised. Unfortunately I had to return due to color not matching. Did order correct color and waiting for its delivery.

A nice replacement!

It was very easy to install and very sturdy.

Surprisingly High Quality

Absolutely the highest quality wooden toilet I’ve purchased in our BnB. And previous properties for that matter. The lid is not jointer edge glued planks rather one solid piece of what appears to be cherry. The bottom is indeed edge glued but seems to have been done quite nicely. The finish is the best I’ve seen in what is now the $100 genuine wooden toilet seat price range. Hinges are attractive and sturdy. Time will tell but I’m delighted and will purchase another for our other toilets as their seats fail. By the way it does come with what some may consider excessive foam packaging. However this excellent form fitted carton absolutely protects the seat during shipping. I used the foam packaging to insulate a section of my garage door.

We purchased this seat, one of the higher priced ones, on Amazon because we wanted one that was durable. Most of the seats you buy now have thin little skids on the bottom of the lid, where it rests on the bowl, but these were supposed to be much better. Those are, but here it is 7 months later, most of the time we were gone on trips, and the metal hardware holding the top to the bottom broke while I was lifting the lid. I'm going to contact the manufacturer and Amazon and see if they will provide wither another seat or another set of hardware and, if they do, then I'll come back and change my rating and revise this comment. 6/12/18 - I've now revised my feedback upwards. This is the best and sturdiest seat I've seen on Amazon or in the mortar and brick stores. While the hinge did break, when we got in touch with the manufacturer they sent out a replacement set of hardware which we received in a week and a few minutes later the seat was working again. As to the score, it was originally a 1, since I believe a toilet seat that costs that much than the competitors should last more than 8-9 months. However, if there hadn't been any problems it would have been a 5. Since the manufacturer was very nice and promptly provided the replacement parts, I've bumped the review up to a 4 star. I may even come back later and raise it highr if there are no more problems.

Nice finish

Not to wax too poetic about a toilet seat, but its finish is more like good furniture than any other toilet seat we've had. Worth the expense in my opinion.

We purchased this seat to better match our decor and we're very happy with the color, easy installation and fit of the new seat. I was concerned about the dimensions but it was exactly as described and it fit even better than the other wood seat it replaced. So far, we're very pleased and plan to order a second one for the other bathroom.

fast shipment, well made, and very good looking

It came very quickly and very carefully packed. It appears to be very well made and it looks great! It's solid hardwood, nicely finished, and well put together. I especially appreciate the hardware and spent more money for this seat, rather than getting one of the other wooden seats because I know that it is often the hardware that goes before the seat. This has a strong bar stabilizing the two points of connection. It's too bad there is not a picture showing this. I was willing to pay more for a product I hope will wear longer and I feel looks better. I will note that although called "golden oak," it has a warm reddish tone. i have another bathroom I'd like to get one for, in which it will be too reddish and I wish this manufacturer made a more ash-y and less reddish brown toned seat as I really like the way this one is made. I am curious about the mahogany one they make, which is currently out of stock.
