This was a very expensive toilet seat that was supposed to be mahogany. It literally cost 2-3 times what the home dopot or lowes wooden seats cost. I installed it and it works fine, but it doesn't look or feel like a mahogany seat (looks nothing like the picture). I would never pay what this cost if I saw it in a store.
This toilet seat is beautiful! Upon opening, the scent of stain and wood filled the air...and I can't wait to install! I almost didn't purchase this due to the one and only review being negative, but thought I would give it a shot. The underside is completely finished, so don't know what happened to theirs. So glad I decided to take a chance!!!
