I was actually in need of large bolt caps to cover the studs and nuts for a set of auto fog lights that I wanted to mount inverted. It occurred to me that toilet closet bolt covers might work. When I saw the cost of plastic ones, these were a no brainer. They are solid aluminum and caps thread on. Exactly what I needed for durability as they will be mounted to the front of a truck and vulnerable to rocks and such. I know that's not the intended usage, but they worked great and provided an extra level of durability for an automotive application.
A bit pricey compare to standard white ones which always works their way off. Black was impossible to find. These will stay put so I feel they are worth the price.
Very nice, looks good on my white toilet (which also has a black seat). It unscrews and the bottom part goes over the bolt end and nut/ wing nut, then you screw the cap down on top. This means you don't get that horrible ring of grime building up like other toilet bolt covers. I will be looking for them in white for the other toilets in my house.

After buying a black toilet from Renovators Supply for $700+ I realized these were not included. They claimed the description on Amazon mentioned the caps weren't included, but it didn't. Renovators have great unique products, but they could be a bit better at customer service.
