I'm pleased with purchase although I got fooled by the image that shows a polished brass finish which is exactly what I needed. Instead, I got an antique brass finish that does not go well with the rest of the front doors polished brass hardware. Seller must clear this up!
My daughter in law just loves it.
I like the idea and image. It is too weighty, however, and needs heavier bolts and washers to keep it from loosening and pulling out of the door.

I gave this to my mom as a gift and she LOVES it. I was worried it would be light weight but it is nice and sturdy.

Would be nice if a hole template was included - I had to make my own. Easy to drill the holes and install in a steel door. Maybe five minutes of work. I love it!

Really love this door knocker, unfortunately, the knocker projects too far off the door and would interfere with the new storm door we installed. I had to return it.
It’s a very nice DOOR knocker. Cannot be installed on a security door. I needed one I could install on the wall on the side of the door, so I regretfully returned it and found one I could install on the wall. If you can install on your door, it is very nice and fun.
Bought this door knocker for my dad who recently painted his front entrance door wildly purple. He has always liked birds so I thought he might like it. And he really likes it! He hasn't installed it yet but when he does I'll update with a picture. It's heavy and came simply packaged (in a plastic bag).
This is a solid well made piece. It will look great on my red door. :)
