These are very nice and sturdy dummy hinges that add a beautiful look to a gate. I was able to cover most of the actual hinge as you can see in the pics. The rustic design of the metal is perfect. My only minor complaint is that the supplied screws are straight-edge, not Phillips, which makes them a bit tougher to install. I used a drill to make the guide holes, but it was a challenge to use this to install the screws for the obvious reason. And the hinge at the bottom of the gate was even tougher (had to lay on the side and use a screwdriver to slowly install the screws). But, with that said, the result is a much nicer wood gate.

I used these straps for my garage doors. They were well made and sturdy. Only disappointment was that they are a matte finish and very dull against dark doors. Easy fix; a clear gloss coat of paint...

Well made and easy to install .I did buy longer steel screws after reading reviews .I used these to jazz up a double front door and they make an impressive statement !!!
I knew I was paying a hefty price for the 4, but was delighted when they arrived, to find them VERY Heavy SOLID construction !!!! They are going to look AWESOME on my presently being built, front pair of entrance gates (my family and I are historical re enactors, so cool stuff like this is a Must have)

Nice straps. They look great. I tried to bend them though to fit a a curved door and found that they are actually cast iron and so they shatter rather than bending if you go too far. Had to braze one back together but they still look great!
love these. I built a new back door and applied these they make the door. I would highly recommend.
They were great but the screws they send with this should be Phillips screws stripped out very easily
Our front door looks like a brand new door with these. We didn't have the cash to buy a new door. Repainted and installed these with the speakeasy door grill and we have gotten so many compliments.
