These hinges are excellent quality and look great on our new pantry and linen closet doors. They are very sturdy yet easy to install and operate very well once on the doors.
These are super awesome! They will be going on a small ---we dont actually know what it was intended to be-but its at our 1930's cabin and resembles a tiny rock house. Perhaps a kiln? These were exactly what we were looking for! And they arrived super duper fast!
Great vintage hardware! If you're rust averse, you might want to coat them. I like a little surface rust on iron, so I left it as is in a wet environment. Looks great on my homemade vanity, and gets a TON of compliments.Note that they are not interchangeable. I had removed them during staining, and when I put them back on I found the doors didn't fit right. Had to figure out which one went where. Just like the old days!
The hinges themselves look very nice. The screws/hardware they came with are cheap and kept breaking. After spending a lot of time and effort preparing the wood we used for the bench we used these on, we were heartbroken to have so many broken screws and therefore holes in our project. All in all- nice look, but would HIGHLY recommend buying new and better screws .
Beautiful - fully met my expectations. Sturdy. They look practically hand-forged. Although not cheap, these are still a great value for wrought iron.
The hinges looked solid and feel nice, but they did not work well for me as an actual hinge to support weight. The strap was loose on the hinge and it would be difficult to mount the hinge to a door without it being crooked. I had to return and get a more rigid hinge for my application.
I used 2 of these to make a nearly invisible gate in a porch railing for package access. It works great.
Perfect for my tiki bar cabinet doors. Heavy duty. Look great!
I used the hinges on the sliding door on the desk I built. Decorative touch.
Nice quality, good price. Needed decorative, small hinge for a small door to storage space. This was exactly what we were looking for. Looks great in our newly renovated family room with a rustic feel.
Yes, that is a picture of both hinges...snapped.I have reordered along with a pair of soft close hinges. For me these are decoration only.
I bought these to use on a custom built 4 foot barn door weighs about 50 lbs. The hinges are rated at 20 lbs per hinge so I used all four..specifications would put door weight limit at 80 lbs. however the screws provided in the kit were 1 inch pan head which for me clearly they weren’t long enough to hold for my door. I had to run out and buy 1 5/8 exterior spline screws. The product is made in India which is the new China for imported materials. The hinges are black powder coated and rustproof but one of the four hinges was out of alignment did not pivot smoothly and after several openings paint was scrapped off so much for rust proof that area will rust for sure. Time will tell if they are robust enough but they feel sturdy. I would have given this product 4 stars if the screws were long enough to fit the 20 lb/hinge limit.
I love everything about them but the closest screw on the "gate" side collides with the center screw on the "post" side preventing the gate from opening a full 90°. I removed the center screw on the post side to alleviate the problem. If the screws were countersunk into the metal there'd be no issue.
They are rustic looking and very heavy duty, just what I was looking for.
