I have several muskets that I keep in a primitive cabinet. I wanted something period looking the fasten a chain or small rope to to act as a restrain to keep the muskets from inadvertently falling forward. I use these nails as fastener points. The look very nice, the over sized nail head serve as wonderful tie points. The nail material of construction and finish is spot on.
