Ok, not great.
It’s cute, but hinges are wonky so it hangs crooked unless you hang it off kilter. For the price, I’d expect more.

Missing hardware not the same bat pictured
Not like the one pictured. It needed different hardware that was not sent. This one had the two screws on top and they were not sent. Had to go out and spend a few extra bucks plus the time wasted to find the right ones.The long knocker screw piece was way too long. So again more money and more time. Still wasn’t able to find the right length. The bat is up and looks great but not functional. The bat itself is nice and it looks good. It would be worth 5 stars if it came with the proper hardware.

I just happen to like bats, so I've always wanted one of these. I believe it was the Victorians who put small door knockers in the form of a bat on their bedroom doors. Victorians had a lot of strange customs. I'm sure the bat had some symbolic nocturnal association. This is a cute little door knocker. The black finish is nice - not glossy or rough. I'm still trying to figure out how it installs. There were no instructions included in the package - that is the only 'con'.

Great Knocker but Cheap Screws
The door knocker is beautiful but the screws are cheap and stripped when we hung it. I would recommend finding antique brass color screws that are better quality before putting up your bat.
