The knocker is sturdy and attractive
The knocker is sturdy and attractive. We wanted something natural and less formal looking for our mountain house and this was perfect. It arrived on time and was in good shape. It included screws to mount it.To Amazon: It would be helpful if the door knocker specs on Amazon would include the measurements from one screw to the next. None of them had that specification. Luckily the included wood screws were spaced so we could avoid the bolt holes of the previous knocker. But it was only luck.

A “must have” to make your front door classy
I’m very pleased with the quality of craftsmanship of this door knocker. The beautiful patina is exactly as shown in the picture. Installation was simple as screwing two matching brass screws. The brass oak leaf design is unique, classy and truly dresses up my entry.

Check storm door clearnce before buying.
Really love this door knocker, unfortunately, the knocker projects too far off the door and would interfere with the new storm door we installed. I had to return it.

Screws go all the way through the door.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Love the look. I put it above the locks as I didn't want it to go where my wreaths go. I did not know that the screws would go all the way through the door, so that is a bit unappealing.

Heavy duty
Bought this door knocker for my dad who recently painted his front entrance door wildly purple. He has always liked birds so I thought he might like it. And he really likes it! He hasn't installed it yet but when he does I'll update with a picture. It's heavy and came simply packaged (in a plastic bag).

Only through door install
It’s a very nice DOOR knocker. Cannot be installed on a security door. I needed one I could install on the wall on the side of the door, so I regretfully returned it and found one I could install on the wall. If you can install on your door, it is very nice and fun.

Finish on image not true to product received
I'm pleased with purchase although I got fooled by the image that shows a polished brass finish which is exactly what I needed. Instead, I got an antique brass finish that does not go well with the rest of the front doors polished brass hardware. Seller must clear this up!
