Very Authentic-Looking
I have quite a few antique doors with missing backplates in my old Brooklyn brownstone, so this was an almost perfect replacement part. I wish they chiseled out a keyhole, but other than that, this is a well-made and great looking backplate.

Runs small, but a very nice product
My door is an antique and the rod is small so it fit perfectly. Well packaged, exactly as pictured, easy to install, works great looks great. Far less expensive than other options, but just as beautiful. (I know that the plate is installed upside down, that was intentional to cover a hole in the door).

Beautiful
This is exactly what I needed for my house built in 1888 that I am remodeling. I didn't have enough of the original backplates from the house to do all the doors, so I replaced them all with these, and they look so elegant!! They really make my doors look classy. Alot like I figure the house originally looked like when built.These are very well made and look gorgeous and are a pretty good price as well! I actually used some oil rubbed bronze spray paint on these to match my existing hardware, and they came out really well.

Beautiful & Well Made
This solid brass back plate looks great and was a perfect replacement for the original plate that I had on the door which was worn beyond repair. The Finish was perfect and the workmanship is extremely detailed. I removed all of the hardware, lockset & knobs and polished everything and the 90+ Year Old Door looks like new.
