Simple solution for life without doorknobs

We have a very old Louisiana style home that does not rely on doorknobs. This was a simple and practical solution that would have been used in the 19th century. Solid and attractive hardware

Rustic door handle not drawer handle

MADE IN CHINA. These are rustic heavy duty cast iron. They come in a pair. They are not square like a drawer handle. Note they resemble door pulls in profile. Flat head pan screws are included. I gave these five stars despite the unexpected presentation because they fit my needs perfectly. I needed a unique door pull., but was expecting it to be more like a drawer pull.

Excellent

Very sturdy! Bought for barn and gate handles, and they've stood the test of time. They're a nice cast metal, with a durable finish and still look brand new. They also stay put really well and look great.

Wrought Iron Handle

Just what I wanted. Sturdy wrought iron handle for a pantry barn door. This is not cheap pressed tin. Bonus points for screws included.

Wrought iron door pulls

The overall look is just as we had hoped but the surface is so rough is surprised me. I wanted a wrought iron look for our bathroom slider door. Looks great but when I grabbed to pull shut I was surprised by its roughness and how my hand did not easily grip because it wasn't smooth. Just felt odd. Over all look good. They're on and we are using them and in time, I'll get us to it.

Not wrought iron

Product is well made and would have worked just fine if was the appropriate metal. This is sold as a wrought iron handle. It is not, it is cast. Wrought iron is malleable, which means it can be bent. I purchased this based on the fact I needed to adjust the handle to fit my application. Buy them if you do not need to manipulate them for fitment.

Handle is sturdy but small. I like them but may be small for large hand

Nice and solid

I hate those cheap drawer pulls at the home improvement store that look so nice and then pick them up only to realize that they are hollow and feel so cheap. These are not those drawer pulls. These are heavy, they're solid, and they're beautiful. A perfect character addition to our french doors across the hallway from our reclaimed wood barn door.

All good except...

Handles seem sturdy and well made. I ordered four handles. All came as expected except one handle did not have screws in the bag. Two are required for each handle. They come black to match the handle. I was able to dig around my shop and found two similar screws. I had to paint them black to match the others. Fortunately I had black spray paint. A little hassle but all worked out in the end.

Nice looking product but....

It's a nice looking product although the screws are brittle, the screws warp before fully assembling. The handle is also very rough and sharp in areas. The handles will cut your hands. The handles feel like a ole school cast iron skillet.

Better than Expected

For the price I was pretty sure these were going to be some sort of pressed metal with iron stamp. Nope! Great looking and durable iron handles. I used them for a home project and they look and feel great.

We recently bought a 200 year-old house and just this past summer were able to get the very old, very painted shut windows opened for the first time in what looks like many house paintings. The windows are very old and have no weights, making it a trick to open and hold them while putting expandable screens in. These handles make that task easily doable. The handles are sturdy in their construction and, having 4 screw holes, very sturdy in their installation. I have no worries as I'm opening/closing these old windows that the handles will let loose. Aesthetically, these handles fit right in with hardware found elsewhere in this old house. They'll look even better as we restore and paint these beautiful old windows, frames, and trim!

Matched our existing latches

They look real good on our gates, both sides. Another person who purchased them said that the black screws rusted. I sprayed them with silicone spray and hope they don't rust. If they do, I'll replace them with sst screws and paint them black.
