Great hinges
Excellent hinges I bought 2 years ago for a friends dog gate and they've held up very well to their abuse. Buying another set for another friends project now.

hinges were costly and worth the money
Per Norm Abram's recommendation, I placed wrought iron hinges on the pine standing cupboard that I constructed. Not per Norm's recommendation, I also added a wrought iron handle on the door of the cupboard. I like the look and the hinges are rugged. They only open about half way, which is not specified in the specification, but I can use a little force to get them open farther. I would buy them again.

Got these hinges and they are GREAT. My gate has exactly the look I was after. They are quite decorative, strong, and hold the load well. I didn't rate this the five that it deserves because of the screws. They were a little too short, not very robust, and the heads had a single slot. Maybe they were going for authenticity? Replaced them with some stainless steel that work well. Just added paint.

Wow! This is a huge hinge! I didn't get to use them for the project I ordered them for but definitely will on a bigger project. Nice, quality craftsmanship but plan on getting some bigger screws.

Quality product.
After mounting the hinges and I opened the gate I knew it was a quality product. There was no play in the hinge so there was no sagging. The delivery came 2 days after the order, the look was exactly what I was looking for. However, I had to substitute longer stainless screws for the ones provided and the installation instructions were not very clear. Otherwise I was extremely pleased with the performance.
