I like the way the hinges look. I'd gotten them for a chest for use at renfaire, and they have an older, rustic design that fits well. They are, however, just powder-coated cast metal. (Not cast iron.) I'd give 4 stars, but the part that's a real letdown are the screws. They're *super* cheap. I pre-drilled, waxed the threads, was driving them by *hand*, and still broke two out of six screws. If you pick up any of these pieces of hardware, pick up some better screws to go with them.

Lowest quality screws come with good quality hinges
The hinges are great. Very good quality and look very nice. I had to use different screws as the ones that came with it were very poor quality. They would break when I was tightening them. And they are flathead screws, which are much more difficult to install.

Great replacement for old hinges
My house is over 100 years old the hinges on the cabinets were all falling apart they wouldn’t close properly I didn’t want to get new cabinets. These hinges went over the outside of the cabinets. Super easy to install very heavy duty my cabinets stay shut now I’m buying more and redoing all my cabinet doors with them.

Perfect
I used these as door hinges on a little library project. They have a bit of slop in the design so you need to factor that in when hanging them. But they are heavy duty and look nice in the finished project.

Great hinges for an older, ornate look
I love everything about these. They really look great on this old cabinet I recently rescued during a house clean out. The screws are flat head, which are the devil to install even with pre-drilling your holes, but a must if you want the older look, which I did. The only thing I would recommend to the maker is that they include screws that are just a bit tougher metal. The heads of these strip out pretty easily due to soft metal, but they do include an extra screw with each hinge, so that helps.

Sturdy hinges / Bad screws
The hinges are very sturdy, but there is a little wobble in the pins. The screws are terrible. I broke one off in my cabinet and stripped another. Throw them away before you begin.

I rated 4 stars as these are not installed at this time.However they look to be of high quality and are heavy.These should perform very well in the intended application.That will be mounting hinge out windows on a victorian design bar.Great service product arrived right on time.Just waiting on carpenters.

These were exactly what I was looking for. My husband made me some valances for the living room windows out of roughs-sawn cedar. I attached these to the ends of each run and they look great. Great decorative hinge
I absolutely loved these hinges! I was wanting a bit of a rustic/handmade look for some cabinet doors above my coat closet and that is exactly what I got. I believe they are cast iron as they are a bit thick. The two pairs I got didn’t have too much play in them and they swing well. These come with black screws but my husband used some heavier duty longer wood screws to make sure they were good and secure. Initially he complained a bit about the price but when they came in he was impressed with how they looked and felt. In our photos the project is not complete but they already look great and I would totally recommend for someone who is looking for a decorative hinge that makes a statement.

Sturdy, hefty and handsome...
I purchased 2 very large ship lap cabinets from Offer Up! They are extremely heavy. The hinges on the cabinet were so thin they twisted and the doors hung. I looked for cast iron hinges and found these..and they are beautiful! I’m so excited about them. They make the cabinet look like new!

Very good looking hinges. Put them on a cedar chest we are redoing. Only complaint is the flat head screws they come with. Worst type of screw in the world and easy to strip when screwing them in. Just make sure you pre-drill your holes first.
