Used this on a cabinet I built. A bit larger than I expected but worked fine. The black coating will not scratch easily (its textured as well). Only reason this is not 5 stars is the poor quality of the screws that are included with the latch.

I am not sure what type of door this is for but the bar/ latch that connects the door is too short, they almost have to be right next to each other. Most doors do not work like this. I will modify it, because the product is sturdy and attractive, but not very functional without tweaking it.
