These look amazing! I agree with the other purchaser; the flat head screws are terrible. I opted to replace the ones on the underside of the mount with phillips head screws. The screws that hold the two pieces together are kinda soft. I ended up having to buy a screwdriver that was just wide enough to fit, but couldn't get them super tight because it kept stripping out on me.
Despite this, I would buy this product again. A really unique look.

I love the look of the carpet clips. The flat head screws are a nightmare to put in though. I opted for doing away with them and just using regular screws as they are under the carpet runner anyway. I understand that they are used to look authentic and appropriate to the era but they are a royal pain. They seem sturdy and are of good quality. Take your time and make a shim to space them. This will help with consistency and a better finished result.
I needed something to keep the runner in place and these work perfectly. Easy to install and I can lift them up to move the runner if necessary. Glad I bought them.

They are beautiful and are a very good value. These are solid and have a good quality feel. I made a drill template to ensure that they line up with the carpet runner.
