Great stocking holder!

We had never done stocking for Christmas and decided to give it a try. First obstacle was how to hang them and where. On the mantle? So do you want to use the fireplace or the stockings? With this holder you can use both. Sturdy, kind of antique looking, like something made in a black smith shop - like it belongs near the fireplace. Looks great and works even better. We used it to hold 6 stockings but it could hold 12 because the hooks are large and rugged enough to put 2 stockings on each hook. We enjoyed doing stockings this Christmas and everyone raved about this Christmas Stocking holder.

Just what I was looking for.

Very nice product, a bit pricey but should last a very long time. You get what you pay for, I’m glad I took a chance. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is it is a bit crooked as stated in other reviews but it’s fixable. Doesn’t take up a lot of space is another perk to this stand. We are very happy with the purchase.

Very sturdy and durable

This stocking holder was exactly what we needed. In the past we used the weighted mantle holders but often times they would still fall off. with this very sturdy tree we were able to put the stockings (6) on and fill them with no visible stress to the tree. This was just what the doctor ordered.

Multipurpose

Perfect for hanging my grandkids stockings on during Christmas. But found that it works wonderfully the rest of the year as a hat/coat rack for my husband who is always throwing his on any area that is convenient and then can't remember where he put it. I stood it by the back door and he found it to be very convenient! It's so sturdy and well made. It's amazing how many jackets, pullovers, and hats it will hold without falling over! I may have to buy another one next Christmas!

Perfect addition to our Christmas decor.

I love this cute, homey stocking holder. It’s perfect for when you don’t have a mantle long enough for all your stockings or you want to keep them away from the fire. It’s super sturdy, well-made and easy to set up. And it doesn’t take up a lot of space. We hung seven stockings, all filled, and we never had any problem with it. We like it so much, we will continue to use it after Christmas as a coat, scarf and hat hanger by our front door. Our only objection would be that the finish could be smoother. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quaint, country style stocking hanger.

Very nice piece to display stockings

Overall, this is a good piece for the value, and we are happy with the purchase. Yes it cost a little more than others, but I think it was the best option. It will be part of our Christmas for many years to come.Pros: Holds stockings well, sturdy material, compact designCons: Texture of metal is very rough (need gloves for tightening pieces)*, my heart is a little bit lopsided*Tightening the nut to the base was very challenging. It became stuck half way through twisting it on the first time, I had to grab a wrench and gloves to get it off and try again. I used some olive oil and wrench the second time to complete the tightening of the base. TBH the nut is still not completely flush with the base, but it is close enough that it does not wobble. Other experiencing the leaning issue may not have been able to get theirs tight enough. I would have preferred this come pre-assembled, and in a box it could be stored in.

Heavy iron.

this is heavier than i thought it would be. Assembly was extremely easy. i put some filled stockings up as a test and itdid not wobble. Pleased with purchase.

Sturdy!!

The box was a mess when it arrived but the stand was in no way damaged. Putting it together was simple and is very sturdy. I hung 6 heavy stockings on this for Christmas and it was definitely worth the money! Love it!

Very sturdy

This is a great stand, the finish is a little rough, it kept snagging my sweater. However, it is sturdy and is just what I was looking for, I may keep it in the mud room after the holidays to hold rain jackets and umbrellas

I have 7 stockings and I was a bit worried about only having 6 hooks for them. But Christmas stockings were hung, filled, and emptied without any problems. The stand is nice and sturdy as long as I didn't leave all the weight to one side, which seemed like common sense! Great looking stand!

I love it!

I love buying items from small businesses that are family owned. The stocking stand looks so pretty in my living room. I just love it. My only problem (very small) is I can't get the screw that holds the stand upright to tighten. There were no instructions so not sure how tight the screw should tighten but it does wobble a bit. I also like that you care about my satisfaction. I'm not often asked for feedback. Thank you and happy holidays.

Very Sturdy

The stocking holder is quite sturdy, displays very well, and fits the bill for a small apartment. The washer and nut that hold the pole to the base could be improved with larger diameters to better allow the pole to stand at a 90 degree angle to the floor. I had read about "tilting" in other customer reviews. However, the tilt is minor and certainly not worth returning the product.

Just what I was looking for

I saw a different one at a friends house and my families stockings were the one thing I had not put up yet and I knew it would be perfect. This stand is perfect! It was super easy to assemble, my 4 year old actually helped me. It's a bit taller than I expected (thus why my picture is so you can see the height). People that have seen it have complimented on how nice it is and what a great idea it is. I highly recommend it.

Arrived quickly. Worked great as stocking holder. Using it now as a small lantern holder with coastal decor. Very heavy duty.

Great Stocking Holder!

I ordered this to replace an old (cheap), horizontal stocking holder that had broken after tripping over it one too many times. We do not have a mantle, or shelf to hang our stockings,so we need a dedicated stocking holder. This one is fantastic! It's very easy to put together - just 3 pieces to screw together, and then tighten the legs on the bottom with a wrench. It's sturdy and very heavy duty - not cheaply made at all. It has 6 dedicated stocking hooks, and a cute little decorative heart at the top. We have 6 stockings, so this is perfect. It is a perfect accent in our living room. To make it more festive, I wrapped a string of lights around it.

Wonderful Stocking Holder

We don't have a fireplace in our home and have been looking for a stocking holder that could hold all the kids stockings (and I can't forget our poodle Buster's stocking). We purchased this stocking holder last year and it is absolutely perfect. It is so nicely constructed, not flimsy like some we have seen. Everyone raved last year about how much they liked it. We are buying one this year for our parents. We definitely recommend this item!

Handy when you don't have a hearth

Fairly well made, nice looking wrought iron stand. Much better than a cheaper, less attractive stocking stand I had. Easy to put together. Tended to lean after I first put it together, so I had to work at getting it straight. Not cheap, but I'm very happy with it. Nice place to hang stocking when you don't have a hearth. Haven't had filled stockings on it, yet, but the stand is solid and I'm not worried about its ability to hold filled stockings.
