I was a little hesitant knowing these are foam but are surprisingly durable. I was even able to stain them to match the wood on the ceiling

I had an old Retro Ceiling Light, from my Mother's house, and needed a Ceiling Medallion with a 5" Opening to make it work in my kitchen. I couldn't find any Medallion's, that size, locally but I was lucky enough to find this one at Amazon. As you can see from the picture, it worked perfectly. The quality was great and it really looks amazing.
