Absolutely beautiful, stunning very well-made. Some people say it’s Luz just change the screws that I provided to stronger ones. It sure made a difference on the decor of our handrail.

To get this out of the way - yes the screws that come with these are objectively terrible. Do not use them. Yes, the three screws on the back of the wall plate that hold both parts together are also of poor quality. But these hand rail brackets are still worth it (when you exercise a little 'solutioning.' MEN. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE. Why? Because you also need to add a little red Loctite (271) 6ml tube to your cart. But dude, you say. You shouldn't use red Loctite on small fasteners - they would be *impossible* to remove once it's cured. Right you are! And that is why these wall brackets still rock. They will not come loose and 'wobble' when you drop the three screws on the back of the wall plate with a dose of red Loctite, as well as the threaded holes they go in. Once it cures, that's all, folks - they may as well be welded. I like that the wall plate is broad to give these some stability (my previous pair started making imprints in the drywall because the footprint was too small). The drawback is that you really have to be perfectly centered on your stud to bed all three screws, or just accept two out of three screws will anchor you. By the way, use good quality carbon steel (NOT stainless, strips too easy) self-drilling T25 2" deck screws with these hand rail brackets and you will have a hand rail that you can trust to catch an adult in a fall. I opted to use one support per stud and not only does the final product look amazing, it is ROCK solid. Will buy again.

These are big, rugged pieces of hardware!! Heartily recommend.

Touch of class, but unstable hinge

Easy to install, nice weight and design but after the handtail is attached the hinges wobble so badly creative modifications are needed for safety.

Very stable and great for staircase bannister railing

(1) the railing bracket is hinged so the wall bracket can be vertical while the railing can be set at any angle. (2) Easy to install. I suppose not any easier than most, but the wall bracket can be placed over a stud. (3) as opposed to one reviewer who said it was not stable for an elderly person, mine was very stable. My guess is that it is because I have six brackets for a single wood rail. I image using only two brackets would be wobbly - maybe 3. Mine does not move a bit. Very satisfied!

Lovely, but needs modification

As others have mentioned; these are heavy, attractive brackets. But they have a hinge that makes the handrail wobble when you use it, which is not safe. We ended up welding the hinge to the bracket so that it does not wobble. Now it is fine. But if you don’t have a welder, it will be move when you use it.

Well made

This product looks as it was made just for our house. The wood handrail that I chose for the bracket did have some play in it and rocked. We added some caulking underneath and solved that problem.

Best when Painted

We found these to be sturdy and easy to install on a curved wall. The metal is rough, which we didn't expect, However, with three coats of good quality enamel white paint I am pleased with the outcome.

Buy your own screws for this one

Very pleased with the look. The look and the price sold this set for me.The metal is rough so consider sanding and a repaint ,I did .The screws were not long enough to do the job plus manufactured from very cheap material.
