Does not dribble
I use this tea pot everyday and always smile when I do because of the design. I originally bought it just for Christmas but liked the way it pours and looks that I decided to use it every day. Sturdy with a muted red dinner design and big enough for a crowd of tea lovers.

Sturdy, solid and a full 64 ounces. Great teapot at reasonable price for a large teapot. Fairly heavy when full if you have weak wrist but then you need smaller pot. No complaints here.

Simple but solid
I was looking for a large teapot and really wanted to stick with something made in the USA. This was the only one I found on Amazon that met my requirements and was still within my price range. Actually, it was above my price range, but I bought it anyway. The teapot is fairly simple. The checkmate pattern is primitive and looks like the squares were colored in by a kindergartener. But, that's fine with me as I wasn't interested in anything fancy. The pot is very solid and the top is quite heavy. I haven't had any issues with spilling. It has all the functionality that I wanted and I'm very pleased with it. Some might argue that the price should have cost this rating a star or two, but that's an individual judgement.

Unfortunately, no, it is not recommended to place a stoneware teapot directly on a stove burner, even on low heat.
If you need to heat water or brew tea using a stoneware teapot, it is best to use a separate heat source, such as a kettle or electric stove, to heat the water first. Once the water is heated, you can then pour it into the teapot for brewing. Thank you.
